Thanks for the tips. We are selling 3 e-books on writing (one in advance of publication), so advice about improving sales is useful to us. Overall, the sales of our first book have been steady and satisfying, but sales on the second book are a little behind expectations. So far, we have been reluctant to purchase advertising, which we haven't needed for the first book. We might consider it for the second book.

On the other hand, we have a traditional publisher that is interested in selling all three in one printed volume, which carries additional benefits and also additional risks. Still, something about the e-book market is very attractive to us in terms of ease of publication and purchase. Another advantage of the e-book market that is attractive to us is the ability to update e-books easily and send new versions to previous purchasers, something that would be very difficult (and costly) with a printed version.

Again, thanks.
